Seaside, FL - (July 20, 2010) - The Seaside Summer Concert Series may conclude on August 11, but the final two performances will leave everyone wanting more music. Each week popular acts from across country will take the stage in the Seaside Amphitheater at 7:00 pm. This month, Seaside welcomes two popular touring artists each with their own unique live show. Below are the bands scheduled to perform in Seaside during the month of August.
August 4: Benjy Davis Project - Benjy Davis Project's music has been called, "classic" and the kind of sounds that "will not go out of style." Their sound is categorized as both alternative adult and rock music. These Baton Rouge natives play a blend of "Soul influences Southern Rock" in a way not see before. The Benjy Davis Project will bring their combination of guitar, banjo and violin, capped with vocal harmonies rich in feeling and texture. Their original sounds run the spectrum from soft acoustic to hard rocking party songs that will bring you to your feet.
August 11: Moreland & Arbuckle - Guitarist Aaron Moreland and harpist/vocalist Dustin Arbuckle have spent nearly a decade exploring the edges of American roots music. In the process - with help from the driving beat of drummer Brad Horner - Moreland & Arbuckle have forged a relentless and haunting sound that merges Delta blues, folk, rock, traditional country, soul and numerous other echoes and murmurs from an infinitely layered musical narrative that spans more than a century.
