20th Annual Seeing Red Wine Festival Art Competition

Seaside, Fla. – (March 9, 2010) – Calling all artists to join in a competition to produce the official artwork for the 20th Annual Seeing Red Wine Festival, November 4-7, 2010. As well as a $500 award, the winning artist’s design will be featured in all festival marketing materials from advertisements to brochures, T-shirts to posters.
Artists of all mediums are encouraged to submit their original designs. Artwork should be thematically related to the Seeing Red Wine Festival and embody the look of Seaside and/or recognizable icons. Abstract designs are encouraged. Judges of the competition will be comprised of Seeing Red event committee members. Judging criteria will also include viability of sales potential. Entries should be appropriate for replication.
Submission Requirements
• Entries must be received by 3 p.m. on April 16, 2010 and include the artist’s name, phone and email
• All entries (original artwork) should be mailed to Seeing Red Wine Festival, P.O. Box 4730, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459, or can be dropped off at the Seaside offices
• Electronic versions of submissions as a high-res .jpg accompanying the original artwork is required
• Submissions should not be larger than 24" x 36"
• Artwork should include the numeral “20” (for the 20th anniversary of the event) and be representative of the “Seeing Red Wine Festival” and/or “Seaside”
• No more than three designs per artist may be submitted
• Entries not meeting the deadline or fulfilling the requirements will not be considered

The Seeing Red Wine Festival reserves the right to accept or reject all work submitted during this competition, the right to alter the final design as needed for reproduction and accepts no liability for damaged or lost submissions. Seeing Red Wine Festival reserves the right to unlimited reproduction and use of the image (or parts thereof) for promotional materials as well as products for sale. All submissions will become the property of the Seeing Red Wine Festival and will not be returned. The winner will be announced on SeasideFL.com, as well as in a supplemental press release.
The Seeing Red Wine Festival, a part of Taste of THE Beach, features four days of unique events from private dinners and brunches to wine tastings showcasing more than 400 domestic and international wines.
