Seaside is overwhelmed and grateful for the community of South Walton’s involvement, including vendor participation and thousands of attendees during the past year at Seaside’s Bi-Annual Community Yard Sale.
In October, we hosted over 130 vendor tables and attracted a crowd of nearly 2000 people, all seeking one-of-a-kind items and special treasures.
To insure that we keep this and all other events worthy of their supporters, we will spend the next few months making improvements to the Seaside Amphitheater, conceptualizing the space and devising how we can appropriately improve the venue to enhance the scope of productions we provide to our homeowners and guests.
Due to the modifications planned for the Amphitheater, we will need adequate time to make these improvements. As a result, many of our events during the month of February will be held in new venues in Seaside.. In addition, because of the large size of the Community Yard Sale, we are postponing this event until October at which point we will be able to increase the number of participants and provide an even better experience to our guests.

Seaside is a host venue for Hands Across The Sand on Saturday, February 13th. This organization is devoted to protecting our coastlines and waterways from the devastating environmental effects of oil exploration and support industries. The event will begin at 1:00PM on the beach in Seaside, where community members will join thousands of Florida citizens to draw metaphorical and physical lines in the sand; human lines in the sand against near shore oil drilling in our waters.
