The ashes of Bud, the founding dog of Seaside, will be laid to rest in the Davis family plot in the Seaside Chapel graveyard.
Freedom of worship is celebrated in the Seaside Interfaith Chapel. Rising at the northernmost point of the community, its 68-foot, simple bell tower soaring above the trees, it is the highest building in Seaside... a beacon inviting believers of all faiths to gather together for religious services. Dedicated October 20, 2001, with its traditional center aisle configuration, board and batten wooden construction, heart pine floors, white walls and Carpenter Gothic design, the Chapel is clearly a house of worship, though without symbol of a single religion or denomination.
